تدرس الحكومة الكتالونية والاتحاد الكتالوني لكرة القدم، إمكانية تنظيم مباراة ودية بين المنتخب الكاتالوني والفلسطيني خلال فترة التوقف الدولي في نوفمبر.

وأكد الاتحاد الكتالوني لكرة القدم هذا الأمر اليوم الخميس خلال عرضة للبرامج والأنشطة التي يستعد الاتحاد لتنظيمها لموسم 2025-2026.

ووفقاً لصحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية لم يكشف الاتحاد الكتالوني بعد عما إذا كانت مباراة كاتالونيا وفلسطين ستقام ضمن جدول المباريات.

وقد أفادت مصادر أن هناك محادثات بين الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم والاتحاد الكتالوني لترتيب إقامة هذه المباراة يوم 18 نوفمبر المقبل.

ويجري الاتحاد الكتالوني مفاوضات مع السلطات المحلية لاختيار الملعب الذي سيستضيف مباراة كاتالونيا وفلسطين، ويعد ملعب “مونتجويك” الذي يستضيف مباريات فريق برشلونة للرجال المكان الأنسب لاستضافة المباراة الودية.

وقال جيرارد لوبيز مدرب المنتخب الكتالوني في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو”: “مباراة كاتالونيا وفلسطين ستكون ذات بعد عاطفي وسياسي قوي”.

وفي حالة تأكيد هذه المباراة ستكون هي الثانية التي يخوضها منتخب فلسطين في إسبانيا بعد لعب مباراة ودية أخرى ضد منتخب الباسك في سان ماميس في 15 نوفمبر.

وحقق الأهلي فوزًا كبيرًا على فريق كهرباء الإسماعيلية، برباعية مقابل هدفين، في المباراة التي جمعت بين الفريقين اليوم السبت، على ملعب المقاولون العرب في الجولة العاشرة من الدوري الممتاز. 

فوز الأهلي رفع رصيده إلى 18 نقطة في المركز الثالث بالتساوي مع الزمالك والمصري البورسعيدي، اللذين يمتلكان نفس العدد من النقاط، بينما تجمد رصيد كهرباء الإسماعيلية عند 8 نقاط في المركز الـ18 من جدول الترتيب.

وقال النحاس في تصريحاته للمؤتمر الصحفي عقب اللقاء: “دائمًا المباريات سواء قبل أو بعد القمة تكون صعبة، فقبل مباراة القمة يكون هناك حسابات المباراة والإنذارات والإصابات، ولكن عقب المجهود الذي بُذل، ظهر الإرهاق على اللاعبين اليوم ودخل مرمانا هدفين، ورغم ذلك النتائج جيدة”.

واضاف: “اطمأنينا على الإصابات، وأبارك للاعبين قبل الانضمام للمنتخب، لدينا توقف 10 أيام واللاعبون سينضمون لمنتخباتهم، وسنستكمل التمرين مع المجموعة المتبقية”.

وعن إصابة ياسر إبراهيم، قال النحاس: ياسر في الإحماء كان يُعاني من دوار (دوخة) ولكن لا أعلم سببها، ورفضنا أن يستكمل المباراة”.

وواصل: “حسين الشحات كان يسير بشكل جيد لكن الإصابة قدر، إن شاء الله تكون بسيطة، لأنه سينضم للمنتخب ولاعب الكرة (ما بيصدق) أن يستعيد مستواه، لذلك طبيعي أن يبكي”.

وعن حقيقة معاقبة عمر كمال عبد الواحد لاعب الفريق، أكد النحاس: “لا يوجد عقاب ضد عمر كمال، قمنا بإجراء التغييرات بعد الإصابات وهذا أربك الأفكار”.

اوأكمل: “التدريبات ستكون مختلفة في فترة التوقف، لكن الصعوبة بعد عودة لاعبي المنتخب والسفر إلى بوروندي، هذا ما نخشاه، نحن نتواصل مع الجهاز الطبي الذي يتابع إصابات اللاعبين، ونحاول مرعاة أن كل اللاعبين يكونون جاهزين”.

واختتم النحاس تصريحاته: “الهدف الأول لفريق كهرباء الإسماعيلية أمامنا جاء من خطأ وارد، لكن إن فريقًا صاعدًا يعود أمام الأهلي بهدفين هذا يُحسب لهم ولمدربهم، وارد يكون هناك عرضية من الجنب اليمين أو اليسار تترجم لهدف، أهم شيء أننا حققنا الفوز”.  

Leeds United still have a bit of time left to add more quality to their squad before the end of the summer transfer window at the start of September.

The Whites were reportedly leading the race to sign Leicester City attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss earlier this month, but they now look set to miss out on the Morocco international.

Sky Sports reports that Crystal Palace are close to agreeing a deal with the Foxes to sign the 21-year-old playmaker in a deal that could be worth up to £32m.

The Eagles swooping in to potentially sign El Khannouss ahead of Leeds is a blow for Daniel Farke because he is an impressive young talent who could have been an exciting addition to the squad at Elland Road.

In his first season in the Premier League, the Moroccan ranked within the top 25% of attacking midfielders for chances created (42) and the top 37% for xA (3.11), per FotMob.

Per Sofascore, El Khannouss created eight ‘big chances’ in 27 starts for Leicester, despite their relegation, and could have added an extra degree of creativity to the Leeds midfield.

The Whites could, however, forget all about the Foxes sensation by swooping to sign Gabriel Sara, who was linked with a £35m move from Galatasaray earlier this month.

Why Leeds should sign Gabriel Sara

Signing the Brazilian maestro would help everyone to forget about El Khannouss because he could be an even better signing for Leeds, particularly with the new 4-3-3 system that Farke deployed against Everton.

Lining up with three central midfielders instead of a double pivot and a number ten means that Sara could make more sense as a signing, as he is a creative central midfielder, rather than an out-and-out number ten like the Leicester starlet.

The left-footed star, who delivered 13 goals and 12 assists in his last season in England with Norwich, has been in fantastic form for Galatasaray as a creative whiz in the middle of the park over the past 12 months.

Sara has created a staggering 11 chances in two matches in the Super Liga this season, per Sofascore, which is roughly a quarter as many as El Khannouss created in the entire 2024/25 campaign.

As you can see in the table above, Sara was directly involved in six more goals in two fewer appearances at league level in comparison to the £32m-rated man, and created one more chance per game on average.

The Brazilian star, who scored a sublime solo goal against Leeds two seasons ago – as shown in the highlights below, has been a consistently brilliant creator for both Galatasaray and Norwich in the last few years.

Sara, who was hailed as “outstanding” by former boss David Wagner, appears more likely to make an impact in the here and now in comparison to El Khannouss, who is younger and still developing.

The 26-year-old wizard is in the prime years of his career and could arrive at Elland Road to hit the ground running as a creative maestro in the middle of the park for Farke, given his prior experience in England and his form for the Turkish giants.

The last time a series involved more than a single game was in 2005 and Australia allrounder Ashleigh Gardner has led the call for three Tests to go alongside the three ODIs and three T20Is.”From [the] workload [point of view], it would be quite tough with how busy our summers are, but personally I would love to see three, three, three,” Gardner, who took 8 for 66 in the previous Ashes Test, said. “It’s obviously going to make the tours a lot longer, [and] not sure where you are going to fit it in, knowing we are still going to have to play overseas competitions as well. It would be interesting to see over the next four to five years where that gets to.”But I know personally I’d love to play more Test cricket against England. Liverpool and Newcastle United have been at loggerheads for months, but a timeline for an agreement between the two clubs over the transfer of the summer may be fast approaching.

Alexander Isak's latest situation amid heavy Liverpool speculation

In a story that has twisted, turned and left everyone on the edge of their seats, Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak’s desire to join Liverpool and subsequent standoff with the Magpies has left Premier League fans desperate for a conclusion.

Earlier on Saturday, Jan Age Fjortoft sent supporters of the Reds into overdrive, offering a revealing statement on X that the Sweden international is now set to sign on at Anfield for a fee in the region of £130 million.

He stated: “Re: Alexander Isak Understand Isak – deal is done! Newcastle away at Leeds tonight, so nothing expected before that I am told. Fee expected to be around £130m Isak to Liverpool likely to happen very soon.”

However, there is always a twist in the tale somewhere, something that Mailsport’s Dominic King provided around half an hour after Fjortoft’s update on Isak’s situation.

The reporter contradicted claims that Isak is set for Liverpool, instead telling his followers that there is a chance Liverpool may not sign anyone else by Monday’s deadline.

Arne Slot’s men have always maintained hope they can land the Magpies striker, and that doesn’t look likely to change soon, even if some reports diverge from others on the current state of play.

Once again by virtue of social media platform X, reputable journalist Sacha Tavolieri has claimed that Isak is now in advanced talks to join Liverpool and a full agreement should be found by Sunday.
