Arteta currently has a few key players out as well, with club captain Martin Odegaard, summer signing Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus all unavailable for their trip across London.

Jesus is still recovering from his ACL tear, which has kept him out since last winter, and reports suggest that Arsenal could even sell the Brazilian in January following the arrival of Viktor Gyokeres.

Madueke was in red-hot form before he was sidelined with a knee problem, which was a major blow for the England international, and Odegaard swiftly returned to the treatment table with his own knee issue after just coming back from a shoulder injury.

Havertz, meanwhile, played just half an hour this season before he too suffered a knee complication.

Speaking of the German, reliable club insider HandOfArsenal has shared a very encouraging update on Havertz’s progress via X, which provides further insight into what Arteta said in his pre-Fulham press conference.

This is undoubtedly excellent news for Arsenal, as the 26-year-old has become a crucial figure for Arteta.

Last campaign, Havertz was a key man in their attacking lineup across all competitions, showcasing his creativity and versatility with 15 goals and 5 assists — including four strikes in the Champions League.

These numbers would’ve been even greater if not for a hamstring injury which kept him out for three months towards the end of 2024/2025, and his potentially imminent presence will relieve some of the creative burden on Arsenal’s available forward line.

Havertz will also keep Gyokeres firmly on his toes, with the Swede currently on a six-game streak without scoring.

وأفادت أن فليك سيستغل فترة التوقف الدولي والتي تمتد نحو أسبوعين حتى يستعيد رافينها بعدما يكتمل شفائه وتأهيله ويتمكن من المشاركة بشكل طبيعي في المباريات ولتجنب تكرار الإصابة مرة أخرى.

وذكرت الصحيفة الإسبانية أن فترة التوقف الدولي ستكون بمثابة هدية من السماء للمدرب الألماني حتى يعود إليه بعض من لاعبيه المصابين مثل أندرياس كريستنسن وحارس المرمى خوان جارسيا بجانب رافينها.

Yago começou sua carreira em 2012 no Paysandu, por lá foi um dos melhores jogadores do clube. Ajudando o clube a vencer o Campeonato Paraense em 2013. Saiu do Papão em 2016 com 62 gols em 221 jogos.

No novo clube, o Vasco da Gama, Pikachu foi um dos talismãs da equipe. Em 2016, ajudou com o acesso para a Série A e conquistando o Campeonato Carioca. Em 2017, contribuiu para levar o clube para a Libertadores, em 2018 sendo um dos principais jogadores para evitar a queda do Gigante da Colina, já para 2019, foi de novo um dos melhores do elenco. Em 2020 seu rendimento caiu e não fechou bem seu vínculo com a torcida, o clube acabou rebaixado e Yago saiu do clube. O paraense saiu do Vasco marcando 40 gols em 253 jogos.

Em novos ares, Pikachu chegou ao Fortaleza em 2021. Foi abraçado pela torcida do Leão e ajudou o clube com uma campanha histórica, terminando na quarta colocação no Brasileirão e com vaga direta para a Libertadores, além de três Campeonatos Cearenses e uma Copa do Nordeste. Desempenho tão bom que chamou a atenção do Shimizu S-Pulse, do Japão, para onde foi transferido. Não teve bom rendimento e foi emprestado de volta ao Fortal no início deste ano. Somando as duas passagens pelo Fortaleza, Yago soma 37 gols em 150 jogos.

Na carreira inteira, Yago Pikachu tem 139 gols e 83 assistências em 633 jogos.

De Leede leads fight for Durham with hard-earned four-wicket haul

A resilient unbeaten century from Sussex’s James Coles defied an excellent bowling performance from Durham’s Bas de Leede on day one of their Rothesay County Championship clash.Ben Raine struck early to give Durham a dream start, but they were pegged back by half-centurion Daniel Hughes, however he was dismissed after lunch to hand Durham the early initiative.Coles remained calm and composed to steady the ship in the afternoon and he along with captain John Simpson put pressure on the Durham bowlers. However, the hosts bounced back after tea thanks to de Leede (4/83), who bowled well on his first appearance of the season.Coles remained at the crease and continued to frustrate the hosts and reached his hundred just before close, with Sussex finishing the day on 322 for nine..Sussex got off to a bad start at an overcast Banks Homes Riverside as Raine removed the in-form Tom Haines for four as he chopped on to his off-stump.Hughes responded with a lovely boundary through the covers from a Matthew Potts delivery, but the Durham opening bowlers limited Sussex’s run-making opportunities. That pressure nearly told as Raine dropped a catch from his own bowling when Hughes mistimed an aerial drive on 15.At the other end Tom Clark took a while to get going, but he played a glorious cover drive for four in Sam Conners’ first over of the season. Hughes continued to take opportunities to score as he slammed a George Drissell ball down the ground for four.Drissell struck back for Durham shortly before lunch as he bowled Clark for 30 with one that found the Sussex man’s off-stump.Hughes then reached his half-century, with it coming from 101 deliveries, but the Australian was bowled for 60 by de Leede, who produced a beauty to dislodge the off-stump.Coles started nicely to thwart Durham’s bowling attack, but the hosts struck back with Conners picking up his first County Championship wicket of the season as Ibrahim was caught behind for five.Durham continued to pile on the pressure and they very nearly had their fifth when Ollie Robinson dropped a regulation catch down the legside after Coles nicked a Raine delivery when he was on 35.Sussex skipper Simpson started well as he launched a Drissell ball down the ground for six.Coles continued to tick along, taking scoring opportunities whenever they presented themselves, with him playing a lovely shot through the covers from the bowling of England man Matthew Potts. The Sussex man then passed fifty for the third time this season, but Simpson was dropped on 17 by Drissell at slip off the bowling of Potts.Coles then pulled a de Leede bouncer to the boundary, while Simpson flicked the first ball after tea to the legside boundary. The impressive Conners struck back with Simpson edging behind to Robinson for a well-made 40.Coles continued to motor though as he caressed a Conners ball through the covers for four and he whipped one through the onside soon after.Wickets kept on falling at the other end though as de Leede got Fynn Hudson-prentice for five after he chipped one up to Emilio Gay at cover and the Dutchman struck again as Jack Carson was caught behind for two.Ollie Robinson came to the crease and hit two boundaries, but he was LBW for nine when Raine caught him plumb in front of his stumps.That brought Jofra Archer to the crease, playing his first red ball game since 2021, and he hit Potts for four through third region.Coles, on 95, nearly fell short of his ton when a leading edge from Raine found its way to de Leede at backward point, but he was dropped for the second time. He then well and truly made Durham pay for their sloppy fielding when he reached his fifth First Class century from 169 balls.Archer looked in good touch with the bat as he slammed a Raine delivery through the covers for four and he then hit de Leede for six, but he was dismissed for 31 from the next ball as he pulled one to Conners on the boundary.Coles remained unbeaten on 117 at close, taking his side to 322 for nine.

ويبدو رغم ذلك أن احتمالية رحيل ليفاندوفسكي مستبعدة للغاية، حيث أنه يشعر بأنه متحمس للغاية للفوز بمزيد من الألقاب مع البلوجرانا ولن يتطلع النادي لنفسه لرحيله في يناير بسبب مشاكل الإصابات التي يواجهها لذا فإن انتقاله في منتصف الموسم يبدو احتمالاً بعيداً.

وقد ترددت في تقارير صحفية خلال الساعات الماضية أن المستشار الرياضي لميلان زلاتان إبراهيموفيتش قد شجع على خطوة انتقال ليفاندوفسكي للنادي، وأنه سيشكل إضافة مثالية لخط الهجوم وقادر على تقديم أداء ثابت وأنه من المتوقع أن تكون هناك محادثات أكثر خلال الفترة المقبلة، وقد يقدم النادي الإيطالي عقد لمدة عامين على غرار ما حدث مع أوليفيه جيرو.

Niclas Füllkrug’s injury nightmare since joining from Borussia Dortmund threatens to add the German to a long list of failed West Ham striker signings, and it is believed they’re already moving for alternatives.

West Ham have reportedly spoken to Real Madrid about signing Endrick on loan, while journalist Alan Nixon reported earlier this week that the east Londoners are considering ex-Brentford star Ivan Toney on a temporary deal too.

While their goalkeeping department demands the least attention, it is now being reported that West Ham have a chance to sign yet another big-name on loan.

The 33-year-old is a serial winner. Boasting a Champions League winner’s medal and six La Liga titles from his time at the Camp Nou, ter Stegen would bring a champion’s mentality to Rush Green – something which has been severely lacking in the squad for quite some time.

However, given his £280,000-per-week wages, and the fact West Ham need to prioritise outfield positions, an agreement could well be out of the Hammers’ reach.

– A vontade dele (Casemiro) era jogar no Corinthians, porque ele é corintiano. Na época, o Corinthians queria ele. Só que eu senti que o São Paulo tinha mais estrutura – disse Nilton em entrevista à TV Record.

CARREIRA DE CASEMIRO

O volante fez toda a base no Tricolor. Em 2010, foi um dos destaques do título são-paulino na Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, o que chamou a atenção do técnico Ricardo Gomes, que promoveu o atleta ao elenco principal.

Na primeira vez em que foi relacionado, Casemiro ficou somente no banco de reservas na derrota do Tricolor para o Vitória, em Salvador, pelo Brasileirão daquele ano. Duas partidas depois, o meia foi chamado novamente e dessa vez sendo até mesmo titular em novo revés do São Paulo, agora para o Santos, na Vila Belmiro, também pela competição nacional.

Mesmo com os resultados negativos, o volante se manteve presente no time e alternou apresentações como titular e reserva durante aquela temporada. Ele se manteve no São Paulo até o início de 2013, quando foi vendido para o Real Madrid (ESP), para integrar a equipe B.

Casemiro nunca chegou a ser um grande destaque com a camisa são-paulina, mas se transformou em um dos melhores atletas do mundo na sua posição durante a sua trajetória na Europa.

Contratado em definitivo pelo Real, ele foi emprestado ao Porto (POR), em 2014, mas retornou ao clube espanhol na temporada seguinte, já no elenco principal, onde ganhou quatro Champions League e três ligas espanholas. Pela Seleção, foi titular nas duas últimas Copas do Mundo (2018 e 2022).

Aos 31 anos, Casemiro ainda se vê jogando em alto nível na Europa, mas enxerga o seu ciclo no fim. A ida ao Manchester United (ING), na temporada passada, mesmo com o clube inglês fora da Champions League, foi um sinal de que agora o meio-campista busca a realização profissional. A transferência para os Red Devils se deu por um sonho do jogador em atuar na Premier League.

Casemiro sonha em estar presente na próxima Copa do Mundo, em 2026, no Canadá, Estados Unidos e México. Para isso, se manter em alto nível no melhor futebol do mundo é fundamental. Se os planos dele se concretizarem, a tendência é que depois do Mundial ele projete o seu retorno ao Brasil para um possível encerramento de carreira.
