Na última semana, Diego Pituca recebeu uma ligação do técnico do Atlético-MG, Jorge Sampaoli, a fim de consultá-lo sobre a possibilidade de transferência para o Galo. No entanto, o meia indicou o desejo de permanecer no Santos. Inclusive, o contato do treinador argentino teria sido o motivador para que o atleta se declarasse ao Peixe em suas redes sociais, na última quarta-feira.

No entanto, em entrevista coletiva realizada na última quinta-feira, o jogador afirmou que o post foi produzido em um momento de inspiração pessoal, sem motivo aparente.

– Estava em casa e vi que a foto tinha ficado bacana, então pensei em fazer aquele post. Até me surpreendi – afirmou em meio aos risos.

Com contrato até abril de 2023, Pituca é o segundo jogador santista que Sampaoli solicitou à diretoria atleticana. Além dele, o zagueiro Lucas Veríssimo também é alvo do Galo.

Problemas entre Santos e Galo

O Santos não possui um bom relacionamento com a diretoria do Atlético-MG. Em fevereiro, o Galo tentou a contratação do atacante Soteldo, fazendo uma proposta direta ao Huachipato, clube chileno que detém 50% dos direitos do venezuelano, sem consultar a diretoria do Peixe. O presidente José Carlos Peres, inclusive, demonstrou insatisfação com o ocorrido.

– Ninguém tira o jogador do clube na mão grande. Não adianta eu vir com o poderio de banco atrás, isso é bobagem, o futebol não funciona mais assim, o futebol funciona os clubes conversando, se entendendo e entendendo o outro lado da moeda. Tentaram tirar na força – afirmou Peres à época.

Vice-presidente de futebol, Braz iniciou a fala deixando claro que, para o clube, “o elenco não está fechado” para o início desta temporada.

– Acho que o elenco se fecha no último dia da janela. O Flamengo sempre estará atento ao mercado para uma boa oportunidade, técnica ou financeira. Não (sobre o elenco não está fechado), o Flamengo está atento ao mercado, como sempre esteve – falou, antes de comentar sobre Gabigol (veja aqui).

Tratativas das renovações com Jorge Jesus e de atletas e a possível saída de Piris da Motta, sobretudo, também foram temas nas entrevistas coletivas de Spindel e Braz. Confira as respostas a seguir:

Spindel: “Está muito bem encaminhada. Tem dois anos de contrato, é uma extensão de mais dois anos. Acredito que na próxima semana tudo estará resolvido.”

Braz: “Quando a gente chegou, ele estava três meses afastado. A gente sempre teve boa relação. É um jogador muito importante, campeão. Ainda não começamos a falar desse assunto (renovação). A relação é a melhor possível. O desejo do Flamengo é a continuidade dele. Ele está muito feliz aqui. É uma pessoa que a gente respeita. Acredito que não teremos problema (o atual contrato do goleiro vai até o fim deste ano).”

Falta menos de um mês para a final da Copa Libertadores, e os comentaristas já começam analisar o favorito ao título. Na última segunda-feira, no programa “Bem, Amigos!”, do Sportv, Muricy Ramalho e Caio Ribeiro, que já estiveram em campo confirmam que o o Flamengo pode faturar o troféu.

O ex-treinador apontou o Rubro-Negro como favorito pelo que tem acompanhado do River Plate e ainda destacou as atuações da defesa.

– Eu estou vendo o River jogar há um tempo e acho que o Flamengo é mais time do que o River, é melhor do que esse River atual. Se fossem dois jogos, seria mais favorito. Caio Ribeiro se juntou a Muricy para fazer elogios ao Flamengo. O ex-jogador afirmou que o time de Jorge Jesus não tem ponto fraco.

– O grande desafio, e o Diego pode dizer, é conter a euforia. O que tô vendo do Flamengo, nem no Brasil nem na América há quem jogue mais bola que o Flamengo. Tanto no aspecto tático, na imposição, na intensidade e na individualidade. Não tem ponto fraco. O Grêmio, acho que o goleiro tem um momento de dificuldade – disse.

A final entre Flamengo e River Plate vai acontecer no dia 23 de novembro, às 17h30, em Santiago, no Chile.

Como chega o Grêmio?

Envolvido com a Libertadores, o Tricolor pensa no torneio continental, mas não quer perder contato com o G6 do Brasileirão. Sem vencer nas últimas duas rodadas, o Grêmio tenta acabar com a seca diante do Vozão, em Caxias do Sul.

Como chega o Ceará?

A situação do Ceará é dramática. Sem vencer nas últimas nove rodadas, a equipe despencou na classificação e flerta de maneira perigosa com a zona de rebaixamento. Em caso de insucesso no sul e triunfo do CSA, o Vozão de Adilson Batista encerra a jornada no Z4.

Phillip Hughes was the victim of a freakish accident, the kind that is rarely seen in any sphere of life and has only once before been recorded as the result of being struck by a cricket ball.When Hughes was hit in the neck by a ball during the Sheffield Shield match between New South Wales and South Australia at the SCG on Tuesday, one of the main arteries to his brain was compressed, and such trauma can often be immediately fatal. Hughes initially stood for a second or two before collapsing forwards onto the ground, as players rushed to his assistance and called for medical help.”Phillip took the blow at the side of the neck and as a result of that blow his vertebral artery, one of the main arteries leading to the brain, was compressed by the ball,” Peter Brukner, the Cricket Australia doctor, said on Thursday. “That caused the artery to split and for bleeding to go up into the brain. He had a massive bleed into his brain. This is frequently fatal at the time.”However, Phillip was resuscitated and then managed by, in particular, Dr John Orchard, the Cricket NSW doctor, and paramedical staff, and we were fortunate enough to have Dr Tim Stanley, an intensive care specialist from Newcastle, who was in the crowd and came and helped. They all did an excellent job of keeping Phillip alive and he was able to be transported by ambulance to hospital in reasonable condition.”Peter Brukner, the Cricket Australia doctor: ‘It was an injury to the neck that caused haemorrhage in the brain’•Getty ImagesHughes was transported to the nearby St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney and was quickly admitted for surgery. Dr Tony Grabs, the trauma director at St Vincent’s, said it was necessary to immediately relieve the pressure on Hughes’ brain from the compressed artery.”The head injury that he suffered was catastrophic,” Dr Grabs said. “He arrived well intubated and [had been] resuscitated very well. It was our recognition that the first priority in this situation is to get an urgent CAT scan of the head to determine what we can do. This CAT scan occurred very early and it was recognised early that we had to make an intervention into the brain to actually help get the pressure down in the brain.”What sometimes happens in the brain is, if you put blood around the brain, a small amount, you will start to become a bit drowsy. If you put a lot of blood around the brain, you will become unconscious. Once we had made the diagnosis of blood around the brain, and it’s a subarachnoid blood, which is under pressure from the artery, the immediate transfer to theatre was necessary. He went to theatre and had extensive surgery to remove some of the skull around his brain to help allow the brain to expand so it wasn’t compressed.”The surgery took approximately 80 minutes and Hughes was then transferred back to the intensive carer unit and placed in an induced coma, in order to allow the brain to rest. However, Hughes showed little improvement over the next 48 hours and died on Thursday afternoon.Asked whether faster ambulance transport to the hospital on Tuesday could have helped Hughes survive, Dr Brukner said such matters were more important when a patient was not receiving treatment.”I think ambulance waiting time is really more relevant when the injured or sick person is not being treated,” Dr Brukner said. “By any standard or observation he was receiving excellent quality treatment from Dr Orchard and Dr Stanley and the paramedics at the ground, and hence arrived at the hospital in excellent condition.”Dr Brukner said that while it was worthwhile reviewing safety equipment and procedures, including helmet design, it was important to understand how extraordinarily rare such an incident was.”This was a freakish accident, because it was an injury to the neck that caused haemorrhage in the brain,” he said. “This condition is incredibly rare. It’s called vertebral artery dissection, leading to subarachnoid haemorrhage – that’s the medical term for it.”If you look in the literature there’s only about 100 cases ever reported, so this is incredibly rare. Only one previous case ever reported as the result of a cricket ball. So I think it’s important to realise that yes, we need to review all our procedures and equipment, but this is an incredibly rare type of injury.”Dr Grabs said it was unlikely St Vincent’s Hospital had ever seen an injury of that nature.

Mattioni acredita que a união de todos no grupo vem fazendo a diferença nas últimas partidas para culminar na ascensão da equipe rumo ao tão desejado G4:

– Sem dúvida, temos um elenco unido, competitivo e em condições de conquistar o acesso para a primeira divisão do Campeonato Brasileiro esse ano. Um clube como o Coritiba não pode ficar de fora de uma Série A. Vamos lutar muito para devolver o clube ao seu devido lugar.

Ainda para o jogador de 30 anos de idade, o grupo não está limitado a festejar os recentes triunfos e já está focado no jogo com o Sport na próxima quinta-feira (1) fora de casa.

Najam Sethi has been removed as PCB chairman by the government of Pakistan and an interim setup will take charge of the board, under the chairmanship of the retired judge Jamshed Ali Shah, for one month. Shah is the third person in last seven months to take over the chairmanship.”The government has notified a new PCB constitution and removed Najam Sethi from the PCB management committee,” Irfana Ullah Khan, a government legal advisor, told ESPNcricinfo. “Jamshed Ali Shah will now be the acting chairman of the PCB and he will also serve as an election commissioner.”The management committee, which had been working under Najam Sethi, will remain in the board to work with the acting chairman. They are given 30 days to implement the constitution and make the cricket board functional in the given time.”Shah, a Lahore-based retired judge of the Supreme Court, took office just hours after the government removed Sethi. He had earlier worked with the PCB as the head of its integrity committee and also drafted the board’s new constitution.”I was informed by the government, verbally, to take charge today,” Shah told reporters at the PCB headquarters in Lahore. “I will wait for the notification from the Supreme Court and then decide my responsibilities. Meanwhile, I will carry on the day-to-day affairs, but my basic responsibility is to conduct the elections and implement the new constitution within 30 days.”There was a twist in the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court in which the government was contesting against Zaka Ashraf’s reinstatement by the Islamabad High Court. Informing the two-member bench consisting of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Saqib Nisar, the attorney general of Pakistan, Salman Aslam Butt, said that the government had decided to create a new constitution and hence form an interim setup to implement it. Until yesterday, though, the case was between Sethi and Ashraf but the latest developments superseded it.This is the PCB’s fourth constitution since 1995 and the latest one was developed under the supervision of Sethi. He was running the PCB in a provisional capacity with the help of the PCB’s five-man management committee, directly appointed by the chief Patron who is the Prime Minister of Pakistan. His major task was to make a new and democratic constitution, which prescribes that the chairman be elected democratically, rather than a direct dictatorial appointment.

أكد توفيق السيد عضو لجنة الحكام السابق بالاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، أن استمرار البرتغالي فيتور بيريرا في منصب رئيس اللجنة الحالي، سيُسبب كارثة في الموسم المقبل، مشيرًا إلى أنه يجب رحيله.

وكان توفيق السيد تقدم باستقالته من منصبه كعضو للجنة الحكام، بسبب اختلاف وجهات النظر مع البرتغالي فيتور بيريرا.

وقال توفيق السيد في تصريحات إذاعية عبر أثير راديو “ميجا إف إم”: “كان يجب رحيل بيريرا من منصبه كرئيس للجنة الحكام بعد تصريحاته أن التحكيم فى مصر (سلطة)”.

وتابع: “بيريرا لا يقدر المنصب الذي يعمل به، وهو ليس خبيرًا، ويقول إنه متابع لجنة الحكام منذ 6 أشهر وهذا الأمر غير صحيح، فهو لا يعلم شكل أو أسماء الحكام المصريين من الأساس”.

وأضاف: “بيريرا قال إنه لم يعين أى حكم طوال 6 أشهر وهو لا يعمل مع الحكام، والبرتغالي يهتم باللقطة والشو فقط وذلك ظهر بعدما نزل إلى أرض الملعب من وحرص على التقاط صور تذكارية عقب مباراة نهائي كأس مصر وكأس الرابطة”.

وزاد: “بيريرا لا يعمل مع الحكام من الأساس، والبرتغالي يبلغ من العمر 70 عامًا، ولا يتقبل أي اختلاف في الرأي، واستمرار تواجده في منصب رئيس لجنة الحكام سيسبب كارثة بالموسم الجديد”.

تطرق للحديث عن عصام عبد الفتاح: “هو أفضل من بيريرا فالأخير ليس محاضر معتمد من الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم، ولكني أختلف معه حول تصريحه بأن التحكيم المصري الفترة الحالية مثل فترة كلاتنبرج، حيث إن التحكيم الآن أفضل”.

À tarde, o Palmeiras retomou os trabalhos visando a partida das 19h deste sábado, contra o Inter, no Allianz Parque, pela terceira rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. O Palmeiras ocupa a quarta posição, com quatro pontos somados – goleou o Fortaleza, em casa, por 4 a 0, na estreia, e ficou no 1 a 1 diante do CSA, em Alagoas. O Inter, por sua vez, tem três pontos – perdeu como visitante para a Chapecoense e bateu o Flamengo na quarta-feira, no Beira-Rio.
